Backup of your valuable data is important whether that is your business work or your family files (Photos & Videos). If you have a website or blog and as you know that it’s very important that you must have backup of your database, so you can easily recover if anything goes wrong. Nowdays many service are popular to host your content on cloud like Dropbox, Box, OneDrive & more.

Let’s start with Mover
Step 1). Signup for free account and after verifying your email you will get into dashboard. You can manage your transfer and check your new transfer, schedules and latest activity.
Now you have to connect your account to start with process. So ‘Select Source’ and choose your service you would love to connect.
Step 2). Mover currently connects to 22 cloud service providers, web services and databases. You can choose any services to begin we have decided to go with FTP service to backup our files. Before you choose FTP you have to create account for your backup files on your web hosting provider so that you get FTP login details.
After done with selection you have to put FTP login details and click ‘Add this connector’.
Now you successfully connected with your FTP account as you see on ‘Select Source’ FTP account showing and now you are almost ready to begin transfer process.
Step 3). Now you need to connect another account on ‘Select Destination’ so that your files transfer and stored on another cloud service you want to use for your backup. We are going to connect ‘DropBox’ as destination for our backup storage.
After selecting DropBox you have to add display name for your account and hit Add this connector. It will take you to your DropBox account you need to give permission to Mover app and you are connected.
Step 4). After all your account connected now you are ready to begin migrating process. Select the FTP from ‘Select Source’ and select DropBox folder on which the files transferred from ‘Select Destination’. You can also archive (Zip files before transfer) but as we already Gzip are files so we are going to just hit the ‘RUN’ button and start the process.
After clicking on ‘RUN’ button you have to confirm the transfer process. Now your files transfer to your new destination within couple of minutes.
Step 5). Now the transfer process started you can check it from your activity and you will get the full information about the process like start time, source, destination, files, folder, data & status.
When process is ‘Successfully’ completed it will highlighted with green and confirmation email sent in your inbox. Yeah!
