Google’s android operating system is now more awesome and more advanced, although you don’t see much changes to overall design or interface. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes with new improvement and enhancement, which make your android experience more fun and secure.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on new Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. Google will start rolling out Android 6.0 update next week and if you have owned nexus device, then you will get notified via OTA update notification on your mobile. Smartphone running on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) will also get updated with new Android 6.0 but this not yet confirmed, its depend on manufacturer.
If you want to install Google new Android 6.0 then we have a quick tutorial Get Started with Android Marshmallow 6.0 on a Nexus 5, this post will guide you installing Android 6.0 Marshmallow on your Nexus 5.
We suggest you wait for couple of days to get final version via OTA from Google.
Let’s check out what’s new in Android 6.0 Marshmallow:
Permissions
Android 6.0 Marshmallow now you have full control over app permissions, Let’s you decide what to share with your apps and when. Turn these permission requests on or off at any time. No need to give apps access all the time. This new feature and improvement every smartphone wants in his/her device.
Smarter Battery
Android 6.0 introduced new battery optimization functionality called Doze, which help your device save power for when you really need it, such as ringing your morning alarm even if you forgot to charge your phone. Doze automatically puts a resting device into a sleep mode. When your device is at rest, Doze automatically puts it into a sleep state. So your phone can still set off your alarm in the morning even if you forgot to charge it. Isn’t that great?
Now on Tap
Now on Tap anticipates what you need in the moment. With a simple tap, you can get cards with useful information and apps that feed your need to know.
Fingerprint Support
Android 6.0 let’s you unlock your phone via your finger. Just swipe your finger and securely unlock or lock your device. This new fingerprint scanner lets you securely breeze through sign in and checkout on Android Pay, the Play Store and even in apps.
Storage & USB
Now you able to connect your USb storage device into your android smartphones. Android 6.0 comes with USB storage functionality too, so now you don’t have to use any 3rd party app for using this functionality.
