
Google has rolled out the new version of Android update, now users able to update their devices from Android KitKat 4.4.4 to Android Lollipop 5.0. As the bug causing battery drain issue over Wi-Fi, so update is delayed and now the google developer team have fixed the issue for Nexus 5 and the update is now rolled out and your will soon get the update notification on your handset.
Android 5.0 comes with great new user interface which changes the whole user experience, its fully changes from the previous generation Android Kitkat 4.4. New update comes with great animation effects everywhere, which not only gives users a complete different UI experience. Material Design in Android 5.0 Lollipop
Google really work hard on customizing the whole android experience by giving the new look to their user interface. Now the new UI based or known as Material Design which works like layers and animation. Now in App Drawer all apps appear in white background before it was translucent. Now apps seen more clearly and brighter.
Dialer & Calculator
Now the Number Dialer and the Calculator is fully revamp in Android 5.0, now it is more clear and interact with your every key press with animation. Number dialer now have big green call button and after you call its turn red with great ui effect. Calculator is now having greenish effect and animation on your every keypress, now its look more vivid and great android experience.
Clock & Calender
Clock is changed in Android 5.0 now its having material design ui effects, its changes the colour and time according to your time zone. calender is fully change and now you get notification about your events, birthdays and holidays, it’s also sync from your google account so you will never miss a important schedules. More colourful and new interface exploring calender is awesome.
Android 5.0 Material Keyboard
In Android 5.0 the new Google material Design keyboard plays a vital role in typing faster and more accurately without any mistake. Now there is app called Google Hindi Input which makes typing fun and more awesome. Now you able to type in Hinglish, Hindi and also interact with your touch & voice typing. Android phones always in issue with battery problems earlier. battery drain and usage is high and due to this battery life becomes shorter and this makes all android experience a bit disappointing, but all that may change thanks to ‘Project Volta’ now the battery usage reduced and now you have ‘Battery Saver’ mode which saves your device battery so you get more time until you recharge it again.

Notifications not only offer quick actions and quick access to settings, but they are incredibly dynamic. They can be expanded or contracted to see more or less information, individually muted for a specific period (eg stop Facebook Messages, but not SMS), prioritised and even hidden according to your privacy requests.
App Switcher
Multitasking in Android 5.0 is more faster and smoother than before. New feature ‘Screen Pinning’ is very useful for screen pinning, this will make your screen fixed and no other button works and screen will not exit. This handy feature useful when giving your phone to children for playing games or to stranger, you have power to pin any screen before handling your mobile to others. This feature unlock by pressing back (triangle) button along with recent apps (square) button.
Multiple Users And Guest Mode
Multiple users and guest mode earlier having in tablets, but on android phones which not a big issue but some users not want to share confidential or their data to other users then this may be a issue for them. Now in Android 5.0 Lollipop good news that Guest mode and multiple users account creation built in and this is very useful for who share their mobiles in home to others.
